My sibling and i would take a crayon to a full sheet of paper each. We’d recently became obsessed with fake pokemon like “venatoise” and wanted to make them pokemon cards. Neither of us could draw though. But we found out we could take a single continuous sporadic line and cover the page with it and then stop. And then try to see a new pokemon in that line. And then try to trace that pokemon on a new sheet of paper. And then try to name that pokemon. And then give it moves and evolutions and bios and stuff. And then we’d shuffle them. And then we’d draw paper for a stack. And then we’d hold a whole hand of whole pieces of paper like they were pokemon cards. And then we’d feel bad about keeping them and we set them free in the swamp behind our house.
